Someone took these pictures when I was teaching the Winter English camp.
Last weekend I took a trip to Busan with a friend named Eric. I really liked Busan. It is close to the ocean, and looks similar to San Francisco. Also the weather is a lot warmer than in Bucheon.
I arrived early, so I decided to try a waffle at a shop named Waffle and Bean inside of Yongsan station. I ordered the cinnamon and walnut Belgian waffle.
Then there was a church meeting that started at 3, so I didn't have any time to see Busan. Also the meeting was in Korean, so I left after greeting a couple of people.
The church in Busan is really strong. This building is the hangout for the college students.
Busan also has some great scenery and a nice breeze.
Here is where President George W. Bush stayed. Chosun is the old name for Korea.
His name is Daniel. At first he was teaching at a public school, then he returned to Korea to study Engineering at Busan University.
This is what's on the other side of the Westin Chosun, Haeundae Beach. During the summer time this place is packed.
After seeing the beach and a nearby park, I spent the night at the local brother's house, and attended the meeting the next morning. I took a few more pictures, and then that was basically the end of my trip. It was nice learning about Busan though. It is cheaper than Seoul and a lot of foreigners live there, especially by Haeundae Beach.
