It was a really slow morning since I had no classes. I just had to struggle with the school's web page which was not letting me put some documents online. Finally I found out that I had to allow pop ups. If you want to see my lessons, you can click on this link and it will take you to the Puin Middle School Message Board
Most of the teachers went to a nearby restaurant for lunch since the cafeteria was closed.
From what I could understand, it is a song about Puin Middle School. The guy who does the solo visits me a lot, and he is able to speak English well because he has lived in America. He has a gift for me.
Here is the principal giving a speech while wearing the hanbok.
Usually the Vice Principal does not smile like this at work.
In addition to typical school subjects the students learn physical labor. These students are helping to clean up the room after the graduation ceremony.
There was one more day of school after the graduation, but there were no classes held. I am guessing it was just kind of a party day. A few of the students stopped by to ask if I would be at the school next year, and I told them I would, so they were happy.
These guys were regulars on the cleaning crew assigned to clean my class throughout the school year. They wanted to make sure I would be teaching when they came back from their spring break.
I had another visitor who said that she would be moving to Seoul. She gave me this flower as a farewell gift. The note around the outside reads "To. Braiun. Thanks for your teach and kind to me. I'll move to Saoul. I'll miss you. Happy New Year." Definitely one of the nicer students. I hope it didn't cost her too much. I think I asked her afterwards if she wanted something.
I'm really glad I had my camera the past few days. The graduation was great and I'm glad I could capture some of it.
