First Day In South Korea

Wow that sure was a long trip.  I arrived today with a terrible headache.  I enjoyed the entertainment system on the plane though.  It was one of the personal ones where you can select your own programming.  I didn't sleep much, but fortunately I didn't need to do any teaching today. 

I was a little worried while I was on the plane though because I thought that I might have to teach today since I was told that I would go straight to the school from the airport. Fortunately it was just to say "Hi" and meet my co-teacher.  She is the one who is helping me to get ready for life here. Tonight she took me out to dinner and drove me around. She also gave me the flowers.

I was sitting close to some members of a Korean volleyball team and they were around 6'4".  At first when I saw them I thought I was going to be one of the short guys in Korea, but then I realized who they were.

Spidey was passing out business cards for a hair salon.

The apartment is not as nice as I expected, but at least it is in a fun part of Bucheon with many restaurants.
